Ike Whitbeck
Whitbeck was a rugged man who delivered the mail, farmed and hunted. He was known as an authority on rattle snakes.

Charles Benjamin Houghtlin (1941-2020). Minister of Mount Washington Church of Christ in 1978 and 1979. Graduate of Amherst College in 1963 and classmate and roommate of Mountain residents Hans Bergmann and John Hay, Tod received a degree in Divinity from Yale Divinity School and was a history teacher at the Collegiate School in New York City.
